That rear channel is aligned with frame mounts and also provides the support for the rocker panel (right where it ends just near the rear part of the door) so I'd say someone would be in for a lot of work to gain a little leg room.

Yeah, I figured there was probably more to it than I would want to tackle. My floor is really good overall, but I do need to replace the first couple inches of the edges by the doors and rockers.
