There are at least two different articles in the FAQ section about van tilts in our body style trucks. At the top of the page click on the home button on the upper left hand side then go to the 67-72 portion it will be there I think it is on page 2[or 3].
As for the Pontiac column they would have keys in them most likely and those are larger in the diameter of the housing and shifter tubes making them a very tight fit or a no fit with out modification to the bezel or dash areas. Jim
