Ok, so I checked this out and I get why he needed to angle cut off the factory base. I wondered if he'd welded a rectangular plate all along where he cut off the old mount but on re-reading it seems like he just put "tabs" on. With no pictures it's hard to know but since I have a Task Force, I'd have to totally rethink the approach anyway. I'd want mine to still slide forward and back....but then again...since this truck will be ONLY for me, why?!
