Wow. That's crazy. The urethane bushings on my Rancho leaf springs have been on my Jimmy since 1990. They are cracked but they are still doing there job. And they were mocked up on another frame for awhile so were several years old at that point.
I'd give the urethane bushings another shot or I would find a source with a reputation for standing behind their products if I were to buy rubber.
