Re: 7.50R-16 tires/two piece wheels
Well, I've learned a lot about two-piece wheels in the 18 months since I originally posted this topic. Turns out ANY style of tire (bias or radial) is appropriate for any wheel of the same diameter (in terms of bead profile).
So my question now becomes..... does anyone know of a good 7.50R16 highway tread light truck tire that's not 15 ply? I'm hoping to find a 6 or 8 ply. It seems that the list for such a tire is very short, possibly only one or two. I thought I'd throw it out to the members here to see if anyone knew of a tire that I'm missing. Is anyone here running 7.50R16 tires on their truck? If so, I'd love to hear your feedback on them.
