yeah, just throwing things out there. And when I mentioned T-case drop I meant the removal of whats probably there. I've never seen anything taller than 6" of lift without one, or at least with a front driveshaft.
If you are concerned about ride quality, maybe look at the 4" HD Tuff Country springs for the rear (better for towing) and EZ Rides for the front. Then run a ZeroRate/EZ Inch blocks at each corner, then a 1" body lift. This will net you 6" total but with less spring arch. Same goes for the 8" you were talking about. Go smaller spring lift and add to it. The body lift alone is worth the extra working room you get under the rig (between frame and body, drivetrain, etc)
