It's getting thick now

Ahhhhhh the PRESSURE..........

I drop the bed off Saturday. Body/paint guy gave me a quote today, which came in around 12% less than I planned for, though I still need to clear something up. He's a nice "kid" (35ish), and says he can get this like new, but I got news for him, and I'll tell him, there will be a bonus for perfection. I'm not screwing around on this project, it's right or nothing. The project is 25 years in the making.

He's going to do this in his "spare time". Frame remains here and I do my part, body at his place until the paint booth. He's going to take his time, and I told him I'd be perfectly okay with a 2-3 year project. He says, nope, I'm hoping to do this in a year.

Looks like I'm going to be busy. Seems like a lot of cash, but in perspective, I've blown more on new. This is far better than new.

I developed an assembly guide (kit) for restoring this truck from the ground up, complete with details including full hardware descriptions. Much of the info. applies to all 67-72 GM. My build thread, with some info. about the assembly kit https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=730025
