I have seen it installed on only one truck that was obviously original. The truck was a red longbed that was a real Tiajuana taxi / jalopy. The truck was a total wreck and the driprail trim was the nicest item on the truck. These guys were using it for a lawn service. Last summer they would come by and cut my grass. They spoke very little english and I never got a chance to ask if they wanted to sell the trim or trade it for a 12 pack. I plan on hiring them again this summer. Maybe I will have to brush up on my spanish.
