I truly don't know for sure as I've never installed these. Would have to be an answer that comes from someone who has. I don't think that would happen because the geometry ends up being the same as factory....just the spring sits 3" lower which allows the suspension to drop down 3" lower...so spring should be under the same amount of tension as it is with a stock A-arm. (engine crossmember sits 3" lower than it would with stock A-arms) I don't think they'd be able to sell these if there was any chance of the spring dislodging.
