Re: ATHS National Show '15

I would really like to go to next year's show in Salem*. I doubt it will come around to that. Maybe one day, though, I will be able to catch a west coast show. I have a thing for logging trucks, so the NW would be awesome. Of coarse, it was in CA where I've seen the nicest trucks on the planet. I'm talking back in the '70s when custom trucks were far and few between across the nation. Generally it was western trucks that took my love of trucks to a whole new level
* I have an sweet little filly up in Portland I would like to visit, too. Not that the trip wouldn't be about trucks you understand?

That '36 GMC pickup in post 1st picture post #135 was super saweet! The owner and I shared our first cup of coffee Saturday morning (we each had our own cup ) after waiting about 5 minutes for the kitchen to open. He's an older feller from upstate NY/now a snow bird in FL. He ran his body shop all his life before retiring. He did that truck many years ago and it is all original parts. Some museum should buy that!

In that same post is the 3rd picture is a Brockway hearse...totally custom coach built...from Venezuala! Talk about unique (while being creepy).
