Hi Mike. Drivers side inner fender would be the correct location for the '71. Only the '67 and '68 trucks were mounted on the core support.

Yes, there should be two holes one above the other....

If you can't find a bottle and bracket over there I will send you an extra one I have if you want to pay he postage on the package. The original pump may not work even after you get everything figured out.

If you don't need a stock bottle you could probably find one that would work off of another vehicle. A later one with the pump built into the bottle would work also.
