I built a Dse pro touring 68 Camaro back in 2010 that we ran a nice 468 big block and t56 magnum six speed. The car had a great sound did everything I could have wanted, but I was told by several that even a mild LS is so much smoother and just better overall. I have rugrats so I will go LS and paddle shifter auto trans. My boys both want to cruise with me and the six speed would be in the way. With the twist machine paddle shifter it can feel just like a manual tranny without the shifter in the way.

Please add pictures of your engine. Trying to get more ideas. I am thinking mast motorsports since they are right down the road. They have some awesome engines. Up to however much money you want to spend. Even with a good frame, I do not want to waste the money on horsepower if we cannot get it to the ground.
