Martin, the engine that you have (1 pc seal rear main), will have a weighted flex or flywheel, how ever the balancer on front is neutral balance. Its hard for the parts guys to "chase', what is not in the computer? The vortec is a truck engine.....look for the date code on the block, to narrow it down...(that way, the parts house computer can dig up the proper part). Hope that helps...longhorn
