I ran a 2.2 5 spd in my 65 and have a 47 and a 49 with the 4.3 4l60e.
4.8/5.3/6.0 are reliable swaps, as common as belly buttons and about as complicated to install now with all the bolt in plug it kits out there. doowhatchoolyke is my point. youre the one that has to drive it.
