Re: I'm looking for these OEM parts for a 71 Chevy

OEM and straight metal only...rust not a concern.

1. 12-bolt differential cover. FOUND

2. 402 Valve covers using the push-on rubber oil cap. FOUND

3. Paint separator moldings (wraps around the cab under rear window). FOUND

4. Original coolant overflow tank and bracket. I believe these sat on the LH side of the radiator. Reference to a stock reproduction is appreciated. MISSING IN ACTION

Note: If anyone can educate why/if there are two different "original" brackets It would be appreciated. I've seen two "originals". When mounted, one bracket is square with the bottle. For the other, the bracket slopes downward against the bottle. I'm mostly certain the one that slopes down is original. I believe both types use the same bottle. I've never seen the mount portion of the bracket that slopes downward, so can't say they're the same.

I developed an assembly guide (kit) for restoring this truck from the ground up, complete with details including full hardware descriptions. Much of the info. applies to all 67-72 GM. My build thread, with some info. about the assembly kit https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=730025
