LMC has the same wheel Jim has, p.n. 38-1162 for $99.95. I had a wooden wheel on a project about 15 years ago. The top part that was exposed to sunlight slowly bleached and I couldn't keep any type of finish on it for very long. After a few splinters, I got rid of it. It was a cheap Grant, though, so maybe better wheels and better finishes would prevent this. There's an opinion for ya!
