Thats not to say it can't be done with a wider axle or wheel spacers on the rear.
I've also seen custom tie rod ends that were purposely "bent" to prevent hitting the rims.

The wheels are in 5x4.75 bolt pattern so a 1" adapter should correct the back spacing to 5.5" BS which in my research would be no issue
