As mentioned above, chack your rubber hoses.
When I got my truck a few years ago I had similar problem when I got above 50 MPH it would crap out. Stock 283.
Turned out it was the hose from metal gas line to fuel pump that was too long and was kinked in the middle. Would run OK at low speed but die at higher speed.
Took me 2 days to find it and the PO had been driving like that for 4 years.
