Re: The Tiki Sea 10

Thanks for the feedback... The wheels are the Detroit Steel Wheel 'smoothies' that I had clips placed to fit the '65 dog dish hub cap. It took me a bit to source 8 hubcaps that all looked similar - needed 5 for the truck but figured a couple will spin off, over time, down the highway.

Working on 'roughing in' the sheet metal mods to meet a deadline to send the body out for bodywork/paint. Will be working on a Pro Touring chassis while the tin is away.

Just doing most of the mods you all have done in the past...

Using a 1960 grille... tearing it all apart to put it back together without any rattles and updated electrics

Using the later model rear bumper/license plate holder

Started on the big window conversion and will be adding in shoulder seatbelt anchors while it's apart

Should have rear window cut out this coming week. Things on the schedule for next 2 weeks... finish up rear window conversion, fit up new tilt steering column with a 1960 Chevy Bel Air steering wheel and hopefully get instrument cluster back from rebuild and a modded 1969 Corvair clock...

Hopefully... send off front/rear bumper, grill and wheels to powdercoat - they will be a creme/tan color with a shade darker grille insert and 'eyebrows'

Thanks for checking in
