I'm no authority by any means but I have several books that say they were used on both the 67 and also the 68 trucks. Anyone care to comment as to the originality of the application? GMC Paul would surely know. He seems to have a rather large stable of the 67 trucks.  Not disputing your thoughts, just not that well versed in the 67/68 trim combo's.
