Try bleeding with a pressure pot and a soda bottle catch can.

$61 for the complete Motive unit includes the darn nice $38 Aluminum 1105 master cylinder adapter. I built one 10 years ago for around $40 in parts. Factoring in your time and inflation on parts... you can't build it cheaper than they are selling it anymore.
