Thumbs up Re: LS engine and radiator fans

I just got home from looking at new 2015 Silverado's. I've been thinking about trading my 08 Tahoe in on one. My 08 Tahoe is factory stock LTZ nothing has been touched on it with a 5.3 and it runs 210 all day everyday weather I'm towing are just cruising!
Running these motor's at 165 are anything less than 190 is hurting you on MPG!
These motor need to run with in the parameters they where designed for which is 210. As long as you keep the trans temp below 200 you are good to go.
I wouldn't want mine running any less than 190.
Just some info on the new 5.3 that I looked at. They all had electric steering and the water outlets are on the drivers side now so a swap will be much easier as far as hoses. The intakes are car types now also!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
