I cannot say for sure if it would clear a truck with a sport bumper. I have nothing with a sport bumper here to check. I did check a measurement from where the hitch mounts to the frame to the top of the cross tube and it is 2 1/2 and another 2 1/2 to the top of the receiver tube.
