You said it's a V8-4spd... is it the Granny 4? It's not a regular 4-speed, is it?
See if the spare tire mount is there, and the jack under the seat, too. A few more bucks in your pocket.

I'd be interested in knowing if the 283's came with a 4bbl carb also. I'm not sure if the trans has the granny gear or if it's regular. I know the the shift knob has the standard 4spd pattern on it. Given the options the truck has I'd say it's got a regular trans but I could be wrong. I'll try and get more pictures of it if I can get it to my house. I have a feeling the truck is going to fall apart trying to get it on my trailer.
