Here is a thread on choke deletes posted by Eric (too much stuff) in 2006. Yeah, I know how to dig them up....

The one in my '68 CST/Custom Camper with a 327 is like the round chrome one with the plastic tab behind it The tab is covering up the word "choke" that is molded into the instrument bezel.
