Re: v6 carb problems
Bringing this thread back from the dead! Got the Holley and adapter plate, just want to verify a couple things before I start cranking down bolts. It looks like I need to remove the studs from the intake manifold and bolt the adapter plate to it with the allen bolts that come with the plate, right?
Also, on the 6066gmcguy write up they mention replacing some fuel line fittings in order to hook up fuel to the carb. Was this needed with you guys' swap?
One last question, my truck has a glass fuel filter, although it's not really a filter. I've had a few older vehicles including a '66 C20 and I've never seen one of these. It looks pretty sweet but since it doesn't do much in the way of filtering so I want to switch it out but it should be good to run for a little while in the meantime with the new carb, right?
