IDK about you, but I dyed my trim/plastics and I love them. Have you had a bad experience or bad product doing so? As for the carpet, I dyed mine as well. Mine was tan and is now black turned out GREAT. The seat, not so much. Buy a new cover if you're changing colors on that. - Zach
