if its on a 73-87, and you want it out of the weather, and out of suspicious eyes.. if you have dual tanks (or add one if you only have one) you could cut a tank open, (clean it, obviuosly) install tank and compressor in there, line gas tank with sound deadening material, and maybe mount a few exhaust fans to keep things cool.... sounds like a clean trick idea anyways... and if the compressor doesnt run for too long the heat wouldnt build up all that much.

Not a bad idea but the compressor(s) need to be in an open environment.
