When properly adjusted, how many clicks of ratchet arm should it take to engage rear brakes?

1964 C10, horizontal hand operated parking brake lever under left dash.

Parking brake works, but have to pull lever all the way out, then locks rears nicely, evenly, as it should.

Adjustment made where cable exiting cab tees to cables to rear.
