There is a reason that Allison's come behind heavy haulers. Not saying you can't do it, but you just need to be cautious about od lockup with a trailor, and kickdown. I would suggest against any "performance" changes to the shift timing or line pressure thresholds in the trans. Do that, put a GOOD cooler on it, and it'll live.
