These older trucks that don't have closed cooling system with an expansion container will seek a lower level of coolant in the radiator, generaly a few inches below the cap. This is normal. The "sweating antifreeze" hoses is not. Have you snugged up on the clamps on each end? I'm thinking the coolant is weeping past the clamps and running down the hoses (in a very slight amount, but noticible).
