Re: Pic of factory camper wiring?
The factory harness included yellow, brown and green wires for the camper tail and brake lights, a wire for backup lights, a white 12 or 10 gauge ground and a red 12 gauge hot wire. The 12 gauge red ran from the junction block on the right fender, was clipped to the top of the core support, and strapped to the front light harness back to the front of the cab. From there the harness(wrapped with wiring harness "tape") ran parallel with the standard rear harness inside the frame, through a hole (mine is also ragged) to the outside of the frame, and to the rear of the cab where it was secured by a clamp (clamp correct, bolt not correct in the pic below) to the lower back of the cab. According to the assembly manual it was then bundled and placed in the front stake pocket. I don't recall where my bundled harness was secured. The original clamp was secured with a hex head sheet metal screw. No connector was provided. That was left to the owner to select the appropriate version just as it is with the camper harness option on today's trucks.
Here's a bunch of pictures.
