Problems with 454 swap
I bit the bullet and yanked the 350 out yesterday and put in the 454 but now have some issues I havnt really read about. It seems the engine sits really far back probly cuz of 4x4 but with the 454 the head hits the throttle lever so I guess I'll have to convert to a cable. I'm going to have to modify the crossmember it's hitting on the oil pan right now. And lastly the a scoggin-dickey clutch pivot bracket I bought puts the pivot ball no where close to where I need for the clutch my biggest issue right now. So any advice would be appreciated. The 454 is from a 93 rv I think if that helps any
