Is the "boss" in the casting for the clutch ball? I put a 400 SB in a truck with a stick and the block was cast for the clutch ball, but was never drilled and tapped. I drilled and tapped it, although the hydraulic clutch would probably solve exhaust manifold clearance problems as well.
