What we are planning to do is make the inside look newish while probably doing some minor repairs. He has the truck almost stripped down. We have an engine/transmission we plan on using.
Some upgrades. We got a deluxe steering wheel and some other parts.
Who should I buy the floorboards from? We did find a C20 but not sure if that cab would work with his truck.
Its going to be his truck so nothing really fast or in perfect shape. I will post some pictures.
Also is it worth it to mount the gas tank outside of the cab under the bed of the truck?

Congrats on the truck.
60-63 and 64-66 C10-C30 Cabs are all the same so you can get patch panels from any. Swapping cabs is also an option assuming you have no legal issues with VIN's and such.
You can get patch panels at Brothers, Top Banana, LMC, or
www.Truckandcarshop.com (I bought mine at truck hence the web site link). For the most part, they all use patch panels from the same suppliers
I would move the fuel tank personally. I never did like having the gas tank inside the cab with me. Never thought that was particularly smart of the designers in the first place. Lots of options for moving, some easy and some not so easy. Depends on if you want your fuel filler in the bed floor or not.
Check the FAQ, there are lots of helpful links and how-to's and if you cant find what you need there, then this forum has the expertise to help with just about anything. I've never seen a question that someone here didnt have an answer for.
Once you start, start a build thread and keep the pic's coming. You'll find we are pic junkies around here
