My 64 GMC 3/4 ton has coils up front and leafs in the rear. Rides really nice with a 915 pound engine up front. lol They really aren't that bad. Stiffer shocks and new coils for up front would help Alot. Tight steering and an alignment would help to. Putting some weight on that rear end would help keep it from bouncing all over. Maybe a 500 pound flat bed. lol
