A 1966 GMC 4x4 that popped up on Craigslist near me. I went and looked at it.
For me it is not a candidate to restore or rebuild, but it would be a good drive it as is till she dies pickup. If I wasn't already busy with my '66 2500 I would of been more inclined to look at it more seriously.
After determining it was not for me I did not push price, but felt there is definite room for movement. Anyone outside of the Mid to Northern East Coast states will be appalled at the price, but it is what they can fetch here. (please no price bashing)
The body has been placed on a '80s Blazer chassis.
Newer Dana axles
It has a Mr Goodwrench 350 with a 4 speed.
The cab isn't in that bad of shape for New England
The hood is Swiss cheese
There was a lot of low tech adaptations from the wood grain dash

to the weld in place engine mounts and shock mounts.
