So I called the 2nd owner about the paint stripe...his neighbor was the original owner from 70-74. 2nd owner bought it from him in 74....he said original owner had the dealer do some things to it before he picked it up....I'm guessing he had the dealer buff out the stripe because he never saw it on there. I looked for evidence of the stripe, because sometimes you can see where it was with the right light, but no dice. Now I'm curious if anyone has pics of the stripe on a stepside, long or short....I've seen the fleet side ones, but stepsides I've seen with trim don't have trim on the bed, just wondering if anyone knows if the paint stripe would have gone on the bed.

P.S. For those lowered trucks, I'm not usually a fan...but they do look sweet sitting still..I'd hate to drive one on most roads I know though which is why I would never own one lower than 2wd stock.... I love all trucks..well except for some other makes, but I prefer these long steps tall and wide, just can't bring myself to modify this one yet....everyone has their own preference but when they are done and you can see what a man has in it almost all of them are awesome in their own way.
