If I recall correctly plastic line to your oil pressure gauge will not pass tech inspection at the drag strip.

If plan to ever run at the strip I'd use 1/8 steel line or better yet -3 steel braided line. Steel braided although more expensive gives you flex as the engine moves around and great abrasion resistance.

I like to run the steel braided line to a bulk fitting on the firewall and then a separate line from the fire wall to the gauge. That way no grommets thru the firewall and easy disconnect for the gauge or engine.
