I went with the combination valve on my 69. I put the front disks on last week and it works like a dream no lockups. The comb has a metering valve, Pressure valve and Proportioning valve combined. The metering valve keeps the front disks from locking up at low speed and the proportioning keeps the rears from locking up at high speed.
I have have a wilwood manual I bought and did not use you can have it for $20. if you want
