I cleaned the motor and masked it off. I bought the POR 15 Chevy orange motor paint kit and a paint gun. I thought it might look better sprayed rather than brushed on. The kit comes with a primer to put on before the orange top coat. The best that I could tell from the can of primer, was that it was just plain old semi gloss POR 15. The primer went on well with a 1.8 tip and 30 psi.
