Well there lies the question how does one know exactly what's been put into these high dollar trucks?

And how much does that matter?

Dave you do those things because they matter to you. Me I'm fine with repop or refurbished cleaned things on my build because I want a driver not a showpiece. And there's nothing wrong with either route.
