I had insurance through midwest classic insurance on my 1994 Corvette, it was stated value for $17,000 and it only cost me $150 a year, 6k mile cap, and I could drive it to work 30 days a year. Only licensed drivers 26 or older could drive it.had to sign exclusions on all the kids.....no deductible either. Robin and his staff really go out of their way to help too.
My family had State farm for 20+ years, when I totalled my 89' grand am in 1990, they would only pay "current market value" on the loss, I ended up having to pay $4500 on a car I would never drive again, needless to say, they got the axe the next day....and everything I own (that's financed) today has "gap" or depreciation clause on it for that very reason.fool me once..... never again.
You know, try as I might, I never could put 6k miles on that Vette in a years time, so I'd be fine with a 6k mileage cap on my truck...
Have a good one!
