Re: Who do you recommend to insure your jewel?
I have used State Farm for years on other vehicles, house, etc. But when I tried to insure my Super with an agreed value, they said they could only do that if it were insured as a "classic". I said, okay, it's certainly a classic, sign me up... only to have them ask if I planned on working on it.
Me: Sure, of course, there's always something to do.
SF: Well then, we can't insure it. For "classic car" insurance, it has to be completely "done".
Me: Whatever that means.
And that's where I left it. I will look into Hagarty soon, I am inspired by 70cst's tornado story...
