Here's a picture of the passenger side one on my 72. It's a very untouched original truck that is great to use as a blueprint for my other restoration. The scoop (shield) is bolted to the rear engine stand. The positive battery cable is bolted to the scoop as you can see in the picture. The drivers side shows no indication that a scoop was placed on that side. The purpose was to cool the mid point of the manifolds.
