Mine would not fit there for sure. Seems it would be a hassle to take out. I mounted mine on the core support under where the battery used to be and use a stock cover. It's easy to get to there. I guess if you don't have to pull it a lot it would clean up the engine bay but I choose to ste my engine rearward for better weight distribution...
