Re: Radiator swap

square bodys you gotta watch the height and width though. some can be taller and will not fit at all.
then there is some that can be the right height but way too wide so you gotta watch these. try too match the size of your old rad.

check older chev vans the shrouds and radiators usually fit most of these trucks fine.
a van rad usually has a heater hose connection down below the filler.

i've seen a few good rads in p vans/motor homes sometimes you get lucky with a good looking/fitting 4 core.

of course look for a copper/brass rad not a aluminum/plastic rad.
if your needing auto trans rad be sure it has the cooler bungs.

around here they charge the same price for a 1 core as they do for a 4 core rad so its wise to look for the thicker core rads.

there is two sets of upper mount holes on your pass side core support so you can have the choice between the two differnt width rads.

i dont believe any other gm came with a upswept lower hose connection like 67-72's so thats something to consider. fitting a lower hose can get tricky.
or the option of haveing your old lower put on the newer rad.

first thing to come out and put somewhere safe....the radiator and shroud but it still seems they somehow still get damaged
