So I stole chopit's design. Then I saw how fredscarryall did his in his build, which was much easier.
The only advantage for me in the the way I did it, I think, is that it made it easy to get the boards lined up. My boards were warped like hell. They had been patched by the previous owner, which I think contributed to the warping. The bracket I made up straightened them out.
