The bedsides bolt to the front panel and the real lower cross panel, the cross sills bolt to the 90 degree angle strips that are along each bedside at the floor level… Here are some random pics of my bed as it is currently upside down getting some attention…

Cross sills should be bolted to the bottom side of these side pieces, as stated above, the bed is currently upside down so these sills are bolted to the top side…. done to gain ground clearance on the stand I am using…
