Did they give you a date, or at least a year? It was on ebay in July 2014 in the link I posted, so maybe the seller bought it from the classic place in 2012/13 and was looking to sell in 2014?

I'd contact the ebay seller too... they might be the current owner.

Edit... nevermind, just noticed the seller was "classiccarliquidators"... same company...

You've already gotten a lot farther than most people, you even have the VIN now, and if those pics are somewhat recent, the truck looks great still! And honestly, being a GMC shortbed 4x4, it's worth what they were asking for it.
